I’ve been inspired and I’ve been learning and I’m ready to implement a few things, and I can’t wait to share what they are.
Let me back up a bit and give you a little insight into what I’m talking about.
I came across A post Adrienne Smith did about what she has planned on her blog.
Check out “Exciting Things in Store 2012” Well her post got me thinking about my blog. She has that affect you know!
Then I came across Frank Kern’s State of the internet Speech. If you have not watch the video yet I highly suggest it.
And here’s a tip…stay to the very end!Oh and you might not want to watch it at 12:30 at night like I did. I don’t think I crawled to bed till 3am I was so wired with ideas.
Now to top that off I’ve been head down on a couple of things. I’ve been soaking up some serious insight on traffic strategies the guru’s use. i mean my mind is now blown at the possibilities!
So what does this mean for “The Network Dad?” Truth be told… A LOT.
I’m going to borrow Adrienne’s idea of putting some “What’s coming up on this blog”, mixed in with a little of Frank’s “Magic Bullet” and sprinkled it with a dash “Oh my Gosh way cool traffic strategies!” Just having a bit of fun here. But that is also part of my plan. Let me explain…
Coming soon to “The Network Dad”
So what is in store for this blog and how can you take advantage of it?
1. Wrapping up my Content Supremacy course. I can hear you saying… “Get er done!” But now I have even more to add. You thought 21 syndication strategies was good. You aint seen anything yet!
2. Blog interviews. One of my favorite things about blogging is seeing other blogs and getting to know other bloggers. You know…it’s a tribe thing anyway. What’s really cool with this is you’ll be able to get to know some of my friends a bit more becasue these will be video interviews. Yep! I’m pulling some of these bloggers away from the keyboard and getting them on video!
3. How to or otherwise know as “look over my shoulder” posts and videos. Conception is fine when you start sharing blogging tips and traffic strategies, but the step by step and actual process is better. I’m looking forward to getting my hands a little dirty with this!
4. Product reviews. I don’t promote a lot of things, but I will be sharing some of the tools I’m using for traffic, back links and syndication. I know there are a lot of product reviews out there already and I don’t want you to think it’s a simple pitch fest. For making money online a product review is great for showing some of the behind the scenes if you will. It’s good for affiliate marketing as well as showing others how to monetize their blogs.
5. Rants and Raves. This one is going to be fun! You’ll just have to stay tuned and see what I mean.
6. Network Marketing. That is 1/2 of my blog title after all. I might as well share some tips or what works AND what doesn’t.
7. Your best self. This will be where the personal development meets the dad with 5 kids. How do you balance the family and work and all that life throws your way while you building a legacy. i don’t mean just eek out a living. i mean while your building something really worth while.
8. My cause. This last one will be where I start to share my biggest why. This is something I believe every single entrepreneur needs to have. After all…When you have a dream that is bigger than just paying off all your bills, then you have something really worth sharing. And then you can really help others.

I watched your cause/dream video …. I love the concept! I have had similar thoughts about helping others. I would like to keep tabs on where this is going. Love to see the vision for 2012. I’ve been tempted to write a similar post and I think you and Adrienne have now inspired me to do the same so my readers know what I have in store for 2012.
You are an experienced blogger, internet and network marketer. Those who follow your lead are learning from one of the best. And I am not just saying that because you are my friend and accountability partner. It is being said because I work with you on a regular basis and I know your style of learning and implementing. And I know how you can get to the root of the matter when something is stuck for someone.
I cannot wait for you to share the tools you’ve been learning because I know I’ll learn quite a few more things as soon as you do.

Well hey Ken, so glad I was able to inspire you to share what you have in store for us this year. I have no doubt it will be amazing and I’m looking forward to not only the traffic tips but the interviews too.
I watched Frank’s videos and I actually watched it later in the day too. SO glad I didn’t do it at midnight but man, that’s a must see for everyone who is building their business online.
I agree with you on the product reviews as you know from my post I don’t want them to be another “buy this great product from me me me…” But seriously, the readers that have connected with you want to know which products you use and what your thoughts are. So why not share them and if we get some sales from those then that’s great. If not, they now know!
I think the rants and raves will be fun too, I’ve had a few of those moments myself. Okay, all of it sounds good if I must be honest but I’m excited for you because I can tell just how excited you are.
So rock on Mr. Pickard and we will look forward to what’s next.

Yes I’m pretty excited about a few things I’ve recently discovered. a bit about me and my passions as well as how I can share them with others. And yes the idea of sharing the tools we use is great on several levels. Hopefully others can see how to do affiliate marketing the right way.
About the rants…it seems kind of fitting the the bigger someone gets popularity wise the more attitude they have. I think it’s high time we let some of the attitude fly around a bit, don’t you?

Loved this Ken and this is such a great idea to show what is going to happen on your prime piece of “real estate”.
I like a blog that has the same theme, but with lots of variety, but sometimes in an effort to get SEO love and attract the “right” prospect, we lose sight of our regular readers who may get bored with the same “call to action”.
It has certainly made me think a little bit more about how my own blog is going to go this year.

Isn’t it amazing what we learn the longer we travel around the blogshpere?! Yes it’s good for a blog to keep to it’s main theme, but we certainly can branch out a bit and offer a little variety right?
