Getting over your Fears

Welcome to day 1 of my 30 day video challenge. What can you change with a 30 day challenge?

This is a personal challenge for me to make one video a day and post it to my blog. This kind of challenge is great for personal branding, personal development and breaking through your fears. So let’s jump right into it.

We are starting this series with fear. I don’t mean be afraid. I mean getting over it. A personal trainer once told me that fear stands for False Evidence Appearing Real. That one hit me like a ton of bricks. I actually figured that I manifest my fears.

So I believed that I could change my thinking and start manifesting my strengths. Then I could use those areas of strength and CRUSH my fears. By building a tribe and being held accountable for a few things has really helped me break through my fears. They are NOTHING to me any more!

This video is actually a response to a blog post of Katie Freiling where she shared about her biggest fear. You all know the one. Studies have shown that this is actually the most popular fear.

What are your fears? Which ones have you overcome? Which ones are still holding you back from you true potential? Katie mentions that by writing them down your actually lessens the hold they have on you. Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts on this one.

To your growing success

Great post, Ken! This should be the first thing people do before they ever start a new venture!

I know that for me, the fear of failure and always being in debt kept me in the dark for a long time–that is, until I learned that it was a waste of my energy to feel that way.

Getting over your fears may not happen overnight, but IT DOES HAPPEN!

      Heather,

Thanks for the comment. Your right on. It does take time and will not happen over night. But by taking action and saying yes to the things that may cause or knees to be weak will help us CRUSH our fears.

What a great topic to start off your 30 day video challenge! Doing video posts is definitely a fear I am working on overcoming right now. I think I may attempt to do a 30 day video challenge also. I am going to start doing some preparation.

Thanks for the great idea and all of the great suggestions for overcoming fear!

    Ken,

Out of all your videos, I really think that this one gives the most “bang for the buck” for someone that is listening and wanting to get started in entrepreneurship.

This is a great principle that I learned from the author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad”, Rober Kiyosaki, and to be quite honest with you, I overlooked it at first.

Now…A year later, I can tell you from personal experience that what you are saying here is SO MUCH MORE true then I culd have ever imagined.

Thanks for contributing to the community, and for your dedication of helping others!

I’m glad you are a part of my life.

    Warmest Regards,
    Justin Glover

Hi Ken! I’m just new to your site! Fears are one of our weakness, and if we cannot crush it. This can give us the opportunity in order to be strong.
